Our story begins in an unexpected place - the world of waste management. Exiled was founded by MYGroup, a pioneer in end-to-end recycling, resource recovery and the remanufacturing of waste into new materials and products.
MYGroup's exceptional reach in the waste management space, working with some of the world's foremost companies and using innovative processes to recycle and recover the waste no one else can, ensures hundreds of thousands of tons of forgotten materials are saved from landfill or incineration every year.
Exiled was conceived to take the circularity of this material to its highest possible expression. Material not simply to be broken down and repurposed, but transformed into something exceptional and luxurious.
Our artisans
Exiled’s creative hearth is our design studio and factory, based in Hull, East Yorkshire. Here, our team of experienced designers, fashion specialists and master machinists design and transform reclaimed and raw materials into rare, desirable pieces, committed to precision and artistry. From first sketch to final stitch, they are the custodians of our craft.
Craftmanship knows no borders. That’s why Exiled extends beyond Hull’s walls into the world, where we collaborate with a trusted network of artisans – all masters in their fields, chosen for their unique skills and integrity. Whether it’s a specialist working with rescued leather or a traditional weaver turning reclaimed fibres into new cloth, we go where the material requires.
Built on ethics and mutual respect, our partnerships are also shaped by a belief in celebrating or revitalising traditional skills and techniques, supporting and empowering communities in the process.
Exiled is the antithesis of fast fashion. We believe scarcity is the ultimate statement, while desirability is defined by the rare and exceptional. We choose provenance over pretence.
Those who own Exiled own something that will never exist in the same way again. We do not mass produce, we craft. Our collections are limited, not artificially but by the ever-changing materials that inspire them. We work only with what is available, for as long as it takes, and are always led by the skilled hands and minds that bring our creations to life.
