Artisanal tote bag hand-woven in Sri Lanka from harvested riverbank reeds and rushes, interwoven with strips of leather recovered from the UK luxury car industry. Two entirely different materials, from different worlds, held together by craft. A limited run of 25. Can be paired with the Leather Compact Mirror.

Material & Origin

Outer and lining: 90% hand-harvested reed and rush from thriving riverbank ecosystems in Polonnaruwa, Sri Lanka, using sustainable rotational harvesting techniques that ensure natural regeneration without degrading wetland biodiversity. 10% interwoven reclaimed upholstery leather offcuts from the manufacturing process of a British luxury car brand. Hardware: 100% brass, bespoke made in Italy.

Product Care

Handwoven with natural materials – handle with care. Spot clean only with a dry, soft cloth. Natural fibres may naturally age and change colour over time, adding to their unique character. If exposed to moisture, air dry completely before storing. Store in the breathable cotton dust bag provided in a shaded, well-ventilated space to prevent mould. Keep away from oils, perfumes and heavy stains. Keep away from fire. At end-of-life, return to Exiled for recycling.

All orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Orders placed after 2 PM (local time) or on weekends and holidays will begin processing on the next business day.

Delivery Options & Estimated Times

·       Standard Shipping: Complimentary on all orders. Delivery within 2 - 3 business days.

  • Next-Day Shipping: Available in select regions. Orders must be placed before 12 PM local time.

Signature Requirement

For international orders, duties and taxes are calculated at checkout and included in your final purchase price—no additional fees upon delivery.

Out of Stock Item

If an item is out of stock or there are any issues with your order we try to contact you immediately (by phone or email) to resolve the problem.

Late Delivery

If you have recently placed an order and you think the delivery of your order is overdue, contact customer.services@exiled.com ensuring you quote your order number and any other details you feel are relevant to your query and we will take appropriate action. Before contacting us about a late delivery we kindly ask you to consider any seasonal peaks and non-working days that may affect the delivery timeline.

Returns

Returns & Exchanges Policy

At Exiled we are committed to providing you with exceptional quality and service. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to ensure a smooth and respectful return process.

Return Eligibility

We accept returns of unworn, unwashed, and undamaged items in their original packaging and condition, with all tags attached. Returns must be initiated within 14 days of delivery.

Please note: Gift Vouchers, Samples or Archive Sale Items, custom-made, monogrammed, or made-to-order pieces are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

If your order was flagged for fraud or reselling purposes you will not be entitled to a refund.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 and the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.

To clarify, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We do not currently provide free returns. Any return shipping fees will be deducted from your refund.

How to Initiate a Return

To initiate a return, please:

  1. Visit our Returns Portal.
  2. Enter your order number and email address.
  3. Select the item(s) you wish to return and follow the prompts.

Once approved, you will receive a prepaid return label and further instructions.

Refunds

Refunds (shipping costs deducted) will be issued to your original method of payment once the returned item has been received and inspected. Please allow up to 7 business days for the refund to appear in your account.

Exchanges

At this time, we do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different size or item, please initiate a return and place a new order.

Defective or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is damaged or not what you ordered, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at customer.service@exiled.com. We will resolve the issue as quickly and seamlessly as possible.

International Returns

International customers are responsible for return shipping costs and any applicable duties or taxes. Please ensure items are returned via a trackable shipping method.
